We spend loads of time at the farm trying to keep up with the restaurant orders of vine-ripened tomatoes. Recently, Chef Gary Weston from Diamond in the Rough at Kings Way in Yarmouth Port started showing up looking for big, green tomatoes. He is on a mission — prepare “local fare with a southern flair.” If the inverted fried green tomato BLT is a sign of things to come, Cape Codders can look forward to some southern influence on locally produced food.
